Charlea holds a First Class Honours degree in Law and Primary Education from the Open University.

She is trained in SEND law through IPSEA up to Level 3 and has advanced knowledge of EHCP processes and SEND Tribunal appeals.

She is also ICO registered and fully insured.

This combined experience across healthcare, education, and SEND law allows Charlea to take a holistic, evidence-based approach when supporting families through the EHCP process.

Charlea provides SEND advocacy and EHCP support for parents across England, including help with EHC needs assessments, EHCP reviews, and SEND Tribunal appeals.

If you’re here, you’re likely trying to navigate a system that feels overwhelming, unclear, and at times, frustrating.

I understand that — not just professionally, but personally too.

I support parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across England, helping them navigate the EHCP process, understand their rights, and secure the support their child needs.

I work with parents who are trying to navigate the EHCP process and feel unsure what to do next — providing clear, practical support at every stage.

If you’re trying to navigate the EHCP process and feel unsure what to do next, you’re in the right place.

Charlea has over 12 years of experience working within the NHS in paediatric settings, supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and complex medical conditions such as Type 1 diabetes, cerebral palsy, and cystic fibrosis.

Her experience includes clinical care, enteral feeding, diagnostic testing, and working within multidisciplinary teams, alongside specialist mental health training through CAMHS, including risk assessment and crisis triage. She is Level 3 safeguarding trained and has extensive experience working with social care and child protection processes.

Alongside her healthcare background, Charlea has worked within education, supporting children as a 1:1 teaching assistant and later as a teacher. She has supported children with autism, speech and language difficulties, pathological demand avoidance, and complex medical needs within school settings.

She later trained as a Thrive Practitioner, leading a Thrive provision supporting over 50 children per week with emotional and developmental needs through a trauma-informed approach.

This means Charlea is able to understand not just the legal process, but the child behind the paperwork — ensuring support is realistic, appropriate, and evidence-based.

As a parent of children with additional needs, Charlea understands first-hand how overwhelming and isolating navigating the SEND system can feel.

This lived experience, alongside her professional background, means she supports families with both expertise and genuine understanding.

Charlea is due to begin a Psychology conversion Master’s degree in October 2026, with the long-term aim of becoming a child psychologist and continuing to expand her services.
